Katie started her career with a degree in public relations from UW-Eau Claire, wanting to work for a small company where she could make a difference and help them “get the word out” through brand messaging.
She landed at Jacobson & Schmitt Advisors in 2016 and quickly realized her interest in financial planning and how valuable (and helpful) it was to explain financial concepts to family and friends.
By framing the boring words “financial planning” as a journey we all take, Katie and the JSA team hope to help you stay motivated and take proactive steps toward giving your money a purpose or, as we say, giving your money a mission. She aims to make finance fun and help simplify life’s complexities one step at a time.
